The Downwind Ocean board builds on the legacy of the popular Downwind Performance board. It is slightly more compact and maneuverable while also being a faster paddling shape. The core evolution is in the hull, now displacement rather than planing, leading to greater paddling speed and straighter tracking without requiring the length of the prior Performance board.

Open ocean performance

• Displacement hull for greater paddling speed and straighter tracking.
• Shorter per volume than the prior Performance model, so it stays maneuverable once on foil.
• Rounded rails and softer chines provide a stable platform through chop.
• Flatter deck gives a wider standing area for long open ocean runs.

Proven construction

• Dual carbon stringer system: a pair of i-beam top to bottom stringers for maximum structural rigidity and durability.
• Proprietary carbon fibre foil tracks keyed directly into the fibres of the stringers for a fully integrated construction.
• Forward Geometry foil tracks place the foil more centrally, reducing swing weight and supporting aggressive turning.
